Digital Safety for
IPV Survivors
Technology can be misused to monitor, control, or harass, but you don’t have to face it alone. The Tech Safe BC Project works alongside BC Society of Transition Houses’ member programs to increase the safety and confidence of survivors of intimate partner violence (IPV) when technology is being used to cause harm by a current or former partner, and to enhance ongoing safety planning.
Member Program Referrals
If you are over the age of 19 and being supported by a BCSTH member program, your support worker can refer you to Tech Safe BC for one-on-one help with:
-
Location tracking

Securing devices and online accounts
-
Spyware or stalkerware concerns

-
Online harassment through social media or messaging apps.
